Re:e manage blue question - 2006/11/16 19:03 Surely you do not need a new ECU. It sounds like your crank angle sensor is not connected properly in some sort of fashion.

This is the 4 cylinder e-manage instructions from Ben (Napalm) of Club3g.com:

Table/pinout of the M/T ECU:

The same table/pinout for the A/Sporty/T PCM:

Same tables + emanage corresponding pins:
M/T

A/Sporty/T

Here is everything integrated into one simple diagram including the injectors:

Ignition harness wiring:
http://webpages.charter.net/bosorio/Emanage%20Docs/emanageigninstall.jpg[/img]

...and finally for those that like to work like me and have just one page with EVERYTHING on it, I have integrated EVERYTHING(INCLUDING the IGNITION wires) into one diagram. It has all the emanage and PCM pin-outs cross-referenced, by color, location, and pin numbers.

A few more notes.

1.)

In my diagram you may notice that I use (for the RPM signal) Pin 45 of C-54 instead of Pin 43 like the first few tables show.

Pin 43, is the wire the Tachometer uses.
Pin 45, is the Crank position sensor.

Both produce a valid RPM signal. However, it has been proven that the Crank position sensor produces a much more stable and noise free TTL output than the tach wire, so therefore thats what I use and I advise you to do the same. But either one will work.

This is for A/T only. The crank sensor on the M/T is in a different location. Check the service manual to find it, if you want to use that one instead of the tach wire.

2.)

In the last diagram; This is ONLY for the A/T/sporty transmission. If you have a manual you will have to use the other tables that I provided as well as the service manual to cross reference the wires and find their exact pin-outs and colors.

If I get time some day I might do it.
