HOrsepower ratings??????? - 2007/10/17 06:25 When you look up a cars specs. like in a brochure or online or what have you......when they tell you the horsepower......is that at the wheels or crank??

At the crank. Rarely you will ever see wheel horse power ratings since they are lower. The only exception is when overpowered cars are sold that are on the borderline of illegal, then they will downplay their horsepower numbers at that time. Russ Sanderlin
