Ingalls ETD "Stiffy" on a Stratus/Sebring? - 2007/05/07 21:09 Have a couple quick questions for you... Will the Ingalls Stiffy ETD made for the Eclipse, also work on the 2nd gen Stratus/Sebring Coupes with the 3.0 V6?

I know that the engine compartment layout looks to be the same as the 3g Eclipses, but I wasn't sure if the measurement from the side engine mount to the strut bar was the same.

Also, would it be best to install this at the same time as my Deyeme motor mounts? Just for the sake of simplicity?

Thanks!

I'm 99.9% sure that the Stiffy will fit the Stratus, I'm not 100% sure about the Sebring though. We are having a group buy over on http://www.club3g.com if you would like to get in on it!

Re:Ingalls ETD - 2007/05/10 11:03 Since the Sebring coupe is exactly the same as the Stratus coupe, I guess it's a 99.9% yes possibility!

I've been thinking about registering on club3g, since they have a bunch of knowledgeable people on there, but didn't think I'd fit in.

BTW Russ, your Eclipse looks awesome! I may have missed it, but what kind of numbers is your current setup putting out?

There are a lot of Strat guys on Club3G, and I would love to see more Sebring guys who are aware of what they have contribute to the forum as well!

My 3G at that time was putting down nearly 290whp at 8psi. As it sits now, it's mid stroke for a 3.5L build.

Re:Ingalls ETD - 2007/06/09 10:59 Hey, Russ!

I finally got a Stiffy on Tuesday. UPS for some strange reason, had to hold it for nearly a week because of Memorial Day. Weird.

It fits just fine on the Stratus/Sebring's and it is more than worth it with the Autostick/Sportmatic tranny. Only took about 30 minutes to install and I just need to dial it back down a bit. At the 14mm preset, it vibrates the firewall when in gear at idle RPMs. I need to find my big crescent wrench so I can adjust this thing.

Bye-bye wheel hop, hello wheel spin!

Thanks Russ!

That's great to hear!!! Guys on the 3G site are pretty happy with a 12mm preset load, see how that works out for you.
