Hey clearfeather,
Making 300whp on this car isnt hard to do at all. It is recommended that you upgrade your engine internals for anything past 8psi. You can get away with the stock motor for quite some time on lower boost with a safe tune. But, if you have a 5-speed you will definitely need an upgraded clutch. The stock clutch will not hold up to much over the stock horsepower output.
The engine does not have to be pulled to bolt on the kit. Installation is pretty straight forward, but if you have limited experience working on cars it might be best to take it to a shop and have it done.
The Greddy Emanage (fuel management) and injectors come with the kit, and the Emanage has a safe baseline tune on it. We can provide all that with the kit.
The limits of the motor arent really based on horespower, but more the boost level. Like I said before, the highest we recommend you go on a stock motor is 8psi. Anything over that and you will need upgraded engine internals. The only thing we advise you to replace after installing the kit is the clutch. If you plan on drag racing, a Quaife Limited Slip Differential is also a good idea, as the stock units have been known to break under excessively hard launches.
Installation costs will vary greatly from shop to shop. You can expect to pay anywhere from $500-$1000 for the install. Other things you will need are a boost gauge and EGT gauge, which we can provide you with. These gauges will help you monitor how safe your motor is running and will help to warn you if there is a problem.
The quality and reliability of the kit is great. The kits are professionally crafted and a lot of time went into the design of them, and we use only the best in performance parts. You wouldnt have to worry about anything failing on you. These kits are built to last.
I hope I covered everything for you. If you have any more questions or there is anything I missed, please post up and I wil address it for you
