There was a lot of confusion as to which torque convertor was right for your application. So, we worked with Ian (Rezlo) to come up with a simple schema of torque convertors for the Sporty/AT trannies to make it easier to select which one was best for you. We came to Ian to sell these because we firmly believe it's definitely required to level the playing field between 5 speed and Sporty/AT owners who thirst for performance like we do.
Cars with automatic transmissions need a way to let the engine turn while the wheels and gears in the transmission come to a stop. Manual transmission cars use a clutch, which completely disconnects the engine from the transmission, Automatic transmission cars use a torque converter.
Now these come in two standard flavors and of course you can still apply for a custom convertor if you require such.
Street Series More Info
The street series is the perfect balance of engagement and stall for a smooth ride for stock to 300whp.
Pro Series More Info
The pro series torque convertor has a slightly bit higher engagement for the power demands to get right into the power band of 300whp ~ 500whp applications.

There will be a few pricing changes and turbo kit realignments, new pricing is firmly effective Janurary 1, 2006. - The 4G64 Budget Kit will be renamed to "4G64 Basic Kit" and the 4G64 Enhanced kit will be renamed to "4G64 Pro Kit". We felt "Budget kit" was a little derrogatory to any potential customers considering purchasing the kit and "Enhanced Kit" simply did not do the kit any justice.
- The 4G64 Basic Kit now only comes in two options, non intercooled for $2299 and intercooled for $3499. Of course there will be a seperate upgrade option for the intercooler at $1299 for non intercooled customers.
- All 4G64 Basic Kits will come standard with an E-Manage, bigger injectors and a t3/t4 turbo.
- The 4G64 Pro kit will now be priced at $4499.
- Due to the cost of producing the kit with rising part cost, the price of the V6 (6G72)kit has reluctantly been increased to $4799. This price of the kit is still cost effective considering that there is no header purchase requirement to for the V6 SOHC 24v platform to bring your car up to 300 horsepower to the wheels!
Have a safe and happy holidays and a safe new year from all of us here at Tearstone Performance. Thank you all very much!  {mos_sb_discuss:12}
