blog_conceptra2.jpgThe 2008 NAIAS Detroit Auto Show runs from the 13 to the 27th opening to public viewing on the 19th. Yesterday, Mitsubishi unvieled the new Concept-RA prototype to the world featuring a new diesel engine, automated SST manual transmission now driving the newest evolution of AWC now called S-AWC.

Lancer RalliartAlso in the 2008 autoshow, Mitsubishi will present two new additions to the already popular current 2.0L powered Lancer. First being the 4 cylinder 2.4L DOHC MIVEC powered engine option or a Ralliart Lancer complete with 4 cylinder 2.0L turbocharged powered platform. Mitsubishi will also present the highly anticpated new Lancer Evolution 10 which was reported on back in Fall of 2007.

The Lancer Ralliart falls between the regular Lancer and the new Evolution X. The car differences include front bumper design, rear bumper cover, dual outlet muffler and a lightweight aluminum, hood with ducts that delivers cooling air to the turbocharger.

I'm not feeling it. it looks like an NSX front and eclipse body and a Porsche rear.  
 
I do like the interior though

Yeah I'm not too hot on the body myself but damed if that isn't the pimpest interior I've seen that wasn't in a Lamborghini Reventon. I would throw down a good chunk of change to mod my 4G Eclipse interior to look like that, or at the very least the gauge pod.
